It is not easy to find good quality fennel sausage outside of Italy. This homemade version is very simple and absolutely delicious.
Instructions
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the seeds to the pan, without adding any oil, and roast them until they change colour.
Blitz the roasted fennel seeds, garlic, chilli flakes, salt and olive oil in a food processor.
Put the minced meat on a large plate and add the mixture and combine.
If not used immediately, you can store it in the fridge for up to a day.
Shape into small balls and use it as an ingredient in your favourite dishes.

- ✅ 450g minced meat (beef, veal, or pork)
- ✅ 1 tbsp fennel seeds
- ✅ 1 garlic clove
- ✅ 1 tsp chilli flake
- ✅ Salt
- ✅ Olive oil
